Here’s some questions and answers about pilates that we are frequently asked.
Q: Do I need to have done pilates/ regular exercise before I come?
A: No you don’t need to have any pilates experience as the groups are mixed ability and the exercises can be adapted to suit your ability.
Q: What will pilates do for me?
A: Pilates will help you build up your torso strength and muscle endurance, which will improve your flexibility. It will also help you exercise and even perform your daily tasks more efficiently.
Q: What do I need to wear?
A: You will need to comfortable clothing such as jogging bottoms or leggings and a t-shirt, as you need to be able to move freely. You will also need to be barefoot or wearing socks.
Q: What do I need to bring with me?
A: All you need to bring with you is a drink as all the exercise equipment you are using will be provided for you.
Q: Are there many people in the group?
A:The groups are small with a maximum of 10 people in a class.
Q: How much does it cost and when do I pay?
A: It is paid at the beginning of a course of 7-8 weeks of classes. It runs at £49-56 depending on the length of the course. This can be paid by cash or cheque.
